Group & organizational work
Mindfulness training for schools and teams
I teach mindfulness the practical way — plain language, real tools, and time to practice them. Sessions are built for the group in front of me, whether that is a classroom, a staff room, a leadership team or a room full of people at an event.
Main studio in Columbia, Connecticut, with travel across Connecticut, Long Island and the rest of New England. Off-site training must be pre-approved so I can protect studio time and avoid double-booking.
What I work on
Self confidence
Building steady self-trust so people speak, decide and show up without second-guessing themselves.
Anxiety
Simple tools for calming the body first, then the thoughts, that work in real situations and not just in a quiet room.
Depression
Gentle structure, movement and attention practices that help people re-engage at a pace they can hold.
Addiction & recovery support
Working with cravings, triggers and the space between an urge and a choice.
Self discipline
Habits and follow-through built on attention and honesty rather than willpower alone.
Emotional regulation
Noticing a reaction early, naming it, and choosing the response — useful for students and staff alike.
Relationship development
Listening, boundaries and conflict without escalation, for teams, couples and classrooms.
High-level stress
For people carrying heavy loads: first responders, caregivers, leaders and anyone running hot for too long.
Business mindfulness
Focus, decision-making and burnout prevention for teams that need to think clearly under pressure.
How it can run
Schools
Assemblies, classroom sessions, staff development days and small-group work with students who need extra support.
Workplaces
Lunch-and-learns, leadership sessions or a recurring practice for your team, on site or at the studio.
Events & retreats
Keynote-style talks, guided practice for a group, or a quiet room running through the day at your event.
Ongoing programs
A series over several weeks so the practice actually sticks, with materials people keep.
Booking a training
Group training is quoted per engagement — it depends on group size, length and travel. Tell me who the group is and what you are hoping they walk away with, and I will come back with a plan and a price.
One-on-one mindfulness sessions at the studio can be booked online.
